As ‘the boss’ of this incredibly talented team I would like to introduce them all and myself too.
I feel extremely grateful to be in a position where I have my own business and in an industry that gives me so much fulfilment. I’ll always give thanks to Annie for opening up the opportunity to step into taking on the salon back in 2013.
I had a vision as a 17 year old young whipper snapper, starting off in the hair bizz that if I had my own salon then it would be called Koppa. To say I’m massively proud that the dream became a reality would be an understatement.
I was once told “ if you enjoy what you do for a living, you’ll never have to work a day in your life”. A saying that has stuck with me ever since because it has so much truth to it.
I hugely enjoy building up relationships with every guest that sits in my chair, getting to know someone on a personal level helps get an insight to what colours and cuts will work for them.
All our team work extremely well together, like a little family and hopefully this comes across when you visit our salon. We enjoy working in a friendly environment, offering clients a pleasurable experience. For many people, this is the only time they have to themselves. If we can help you relax and enjoy some much needed ‘me time’ and walk away with hair you love, we have done our job.
A snippet into me:
I’ll happily say that most important are my girls at home. Laura my wife, a beautiful person who has helped make the dreams I have, a reality! And Our little princess, Imogen who has given me more of a purpose in life by becoming her Daddy.
I’m a very hungry person who wants to squeeze as much out of life as possible. I love to travel and experience anything from trekking up to Machu Picchu, to searching the sights on a city break in Europe. I have some incredible people around me, family, friend and colleagues. I’ll happy say that most importantly my girl at home, Laura. A beautiful person who has helped make the dreams I’ve had, a reality!

Having worked alongside Betty for a number of years as an apprentice, colleague and now as her employer, I’ve seen how much she has developed since taking the huge step in moving from her native Hungary. A real privilege to work beside and learn from.
Betty has a wealth of experience within the hair industry and is always picking up new skills and knowledge to deliver her guests with a precision haircut or beautiful colour.
Having worked with Paul Mitchell products through the years, her confidence with product knowledge and colour selection will allow you to feel confident you’re in the safest hands with your hair.
A massively kind-hearted person who always aspires to bring a smile to your face.
Betty is very much a family person, with a husband and 2 wonderful children. Her time away from creating beautiful hair is spent with her family. As a parent, every minute to see your children grow and develop no doubt will fill you with so much pride and joy.
Working in the salon Tuesday through to Saturday, Betty is welcoming both new and existing guests to sit in her chair.
I have worked alongside Emily for a large number of years, starting with our time in Bingham before moving to Radcliffe to work with me again.
As a very popular stylist in the salon, all aspects of hairdressing fill Emily with the passion to progress. Offering you after-care advice on which products will work best for your hair alongside a beautiful cut & colour. The wealth of knowledge that has been acquired since starting off as a Saturday girl at 14 has gained her a successful and busy column within the salon.
Emily has a professional and welcoming manner which will fill you with the confidence that your hair is in safe hands.
Having nieces and a nephew, along with her precious little boy Roux. It’s safe to say that Emily has found herself with what she always dreamt about…being a mum. Since knowing Em, it’s always been clear that she is a very maternal person so to see her as a parent is wonderful.
Emily looks forward to welcoming you to the salon.
When you have a desire and a gift to be a fantastic stylist, it shines through within the first few minutes of meeting someone. For Millie, this is pretty clear to see when you meet her.
A real pleasure to have within the salon as part of our team. Millie has a very open and welcoming personality so you are always made to feel welcome from when you walk through our doors.
It’s not very often that you have a young stylist, hungry to learn by quizzing you on ‘what colour are you using and why…….?’ It’s incredibly refreshing to hear the hunger to learn and develop at such a young age.
Millie already has a huge interest in colouring hair and is brilliant at wedding hair!! I’m confident that there is a very successful future ahead for Millie working alongside the most talented hairdressers I’ve worked with.
We are looking forward to seeing how her career within our amazing industry pans out.
Just when we were about to set in search for a new future professional, Cloie walked through the door, as if by magic.
Cloie has already had some hair experience at college but decided that an apprenticeship was the route she wanted to take into our industry, thankfully for us.
Having started off with us at the beginning of 2022, Cloie has already gained a great relationship with the salon guests and tea.
Cloie had moved into the village just at the beginning of the pandemic, not knowing anyone but with her outgoing and kind personality, she has settled in really well to both the village and to the Koppa family too.
A girl with a lack of fear having recently jumped out of a plane for her 18th birthday!
We are looking forwards to seeing her progress with us in the coming years.

Koppa Hairdressing is delighted to announce that we received recognition and picked up not one, but two awards at the end of 2021.
We are hugely grateful for being nominated in the first place but to have scooped up these two awards was incredible.
Thank you to our guests for the votes and for my incredible team who deserve this recognition for the amazing work they put in every day. We were then invited to the grand final and were in the top 5 in the country!!!
